Name community, food, music and fun, and you shall find AHOY there. From community-focused day events like the Act Belong Commit Bunuru Festival to ten-day festivals consisting of wining and dining through some of WA’s best bars and restaurants.
As we say goodbye to Summer and welcome stunning Autumn days, we also say hello to very busy months ahead. Luckily, we wouldn’t have it any other way, as that means that we get to combine work and play across our festivals to come. We know that many of you are already planning this winter’s escape, but you might want to save the date for what looks like the hottest 10 days of July in the South West.
Cabin Fever tickets dropping soon
We know what winter in the South West feels like. And for seven years now, we’ve rounded up the best venues and producers in the Margaret River and Busselton region to throw the best winter bash as an antidote to the winter blues.
From 12 to 21 July, Cabin Fever returns to kick off the chills and fire up your senses. Over 40 events all the way from Busselton to Margaret River and in between, with the best local eats, crafty brews and body-warming tunes to help you break out of hibernation.

A recap of Bunuru festival
A couple of weeks ago we gathered on country and in community to celebrate First Nations culture of the South West in partnership with our friends at Undalup Association. From a beautiful Welcome to Country by Zac Webb, to a day of crafts, music and workshops, we loved learning from the region’s Noongar custodians at the Act Belong Commit Bunuru Festival.
A big thank you to all of the volunteers for helping us pull it all together, and to the amazing community of the South West that came together to be a part of this special day. Here’s some memories snapped by Sassoon Studios.
