THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED. We’re on the hunt for our next event gun to work alongside our team to roll out our annual event program. Each year we conceptualise and deliver destination festivals that drive visitors to some of WA’s most wondrous spots, and we need you to help us bring them to life!
We have four major festivals on our current annual roster, in addition to creating and managing several in-house events that either sit on our major festival programs or are standalone for our partners. Your day could include meeting with a local venue to brainstorm and develop an epic event concept or devising a management plan for an in-house event, to booking talent, filling out licenses, collating information for a festival website or loading information into our ticketing site.
Our event coordinator will need to have strong attention to detail and love to be organised, as well as enjoying the nitty gritty of logistics and details. You’ll also need to have the confidence to work alongside a variety of stakeholders and businesses, and enjoy the creative process (and grit!) it takes to see an event from conceptualisation to reality.
At AHOY, we operate inside the values of playfulness, boldness, warmth, integrity and collaboration. Plus we have a penchant for wine (it features in all of our festivals and events!)
Read on for more about the role, and get in touch if you think you’d be a good values fit for our team!
